**Reader's Digest to file for bankruptcy.
The publisher of Reader's Digest, the country's most popular general interest magazine, said Monday it will seek bankruptcy protection from creditors amid declining circulation, an industrywide advertising slump and large debts.
Reader's Digest is the best-selling consumer magazine in the USA, with a circulation of over 8.1 million copies in the United States, and a readership of 38 million as measured by Mediamark Research (MRI).
