1.On May 16th NDTV and THE HINDU have formed a JV to launch the Chennai centric English news channel.
NDTV METRONATION CHENNAI. Previously there was only NDTV METRONATION DELHI.

3.MUDRA (AN ADVERTISING COMPANY) launched new agency Ignite Mudra, which will work with entrepreneurial brands.

4. 11 states and three union territories in the country which have beaten the 2010 deadline set by thecentral government to achieve total fertility rate (TFR) of two or "two children per couple" policy.
The 2010 deadline for achieving the TFR was set by the central government under its National Population Policy of 2000.
The eleven states are Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala,Maharashtra, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and WB.
and the other two union territories are Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Puducherry which have also achieved the TFR target.

5.To announce the fact that the brand is slimming down its cola can, Diet Pepsi has ‘worked-out’ a BTL (below-the-line) activity for consumers participating in a mass workout session with brand ambassador John Abraham. The activity, called
Go Play John + You.
